Sixteen 2024 IEC Memorial Scholarship Available
Looking for a way to pay for college? Consider a Thomas A. Moore IEC Memorial Scholarship available for Illinois high school seniors. For most, students must be a senior and the son or daughter of a cooperative member, employee or director. Fifteen scholarships will be awarded through the Illinois Electric Cooperative (IEC) Memorial Scholarship Program. Each scholarship is worth $2,000.00.
General College Scholarships
• 10 scholarships are available for the sons/daughters of Illinois cooperative members for any two or four year accredited college in the United States.
• 1 scholarship, the Earl W. Struck Memorial Scholarship, is reserved for the son/daughter of an Illinois cooperative employee/director for any school in the United States.
• 5 scholarships available for the son/daughter of an Illinois cooperative member, employee, or director enrolled full time at an Illinois community college.
The deadline for the general college scholarship applications is December 31, 2023.

Lineworker School Scholarship
• 1 scholarship is reserved for the son/daughter of an Illinois cooperative member, employee or director, relatives of co-op employees or directors, or an individual who has served or is serving in the U.S. armed forces or National Guard. This scholarship will help pay for costs to attend lineworker’s school conducted by AIEC in conjunction with Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield, IL.
The deadline for the lineworker school scholarship is April 30, 2024
